My Experience On Mesothelioma

I do not know if anyone out there had any experience with mesothelioma. Until September 2004, I had never even heard the word mesothelioma or even know how to pronounce it. My uncle had to carry a healthy and active lifestyle, he would do anything for his family. My uncle works for asbestos companies until the early 90s.

Then September 2004, my uncle started complaining of flu-like symptoms at the time fatigue, cough, lethargy, light headaceness and weight loss. HeFinally, later went to the doctors 3 weeks. The doctor, my uncle sent for chest x-ray. which showed he had fluid on the left lung. They drained some fluid from his lungs and has several tests that come back as inconclusive. Then they decided to do a biopsy of the lung. What came back, the diagnosis of mesothelioma. I was sitting with my uncle, when the specialist to diagnose what my uncle.

When he was explaining how he contracted, and what would happen at this point, I feltdeaf and could not in what the specialist said to take. I have read everything on mesothelioma, so I knew what I had expected. My heart sank when I read that it was final and there was nothing that could be done. My uncle was diagnosed in November and he was very quick ill. He was tied to bed in a matter of 2 months and was too little to eat and had 3 stone lost weight. He was very thin and weak. The doctors have not a time span, but in February this year 2007, he hasdied.

Now our family is in the law on compensation for asbestos exposure units, the main cause of mesothelioma. Our law is working, we expect operating scarcely passed for compensation for about 3 years.

I hope that my experience can help someone. Please, if there is anyone talking about it, or go by it will make you happy happy to get in touch!
